We are hiring!
We are looking to add new writers to our team.
If you are not familiar with Young Adult Money (and even if you are) consider reading through our start here page. We are committed to helping people make more, save more, and live better. We are focused on the millennial demographic.
New writers will be responsible for contributing either one blog post a week or one blog post every other week.
Here are some general requirements for blog posts:
- At least 700 words, though 1,000+ is ideal
- Include links to previously published posts on Young Adult Money as appropriate
- HTML formatting consistent with other posts on the site
- Add/Choose appropriate categories and tags for post
- Populate SEO title/description/keywords
- Submit post by deadline
- Writers do not have to submit graphics with their posts.
- Follow style guidelines
We have a writer guidelines doc that you will be provided if we decide to add you as a contributor.
Having previously published blog posts is a requirement. If you don’t have any published blog posts, consider starting a blog.
Writers pitch their post ideas. I typically accept 20-50% of posts that are pitched. With new writers there is a learning curve as far as what sort of content we run with.
If you want to see the format and type of posts I’m looking for it may be worth reading some of Rachel’s posts.
