Happy Friday everyone!
This Friday couldn’t come soon enough! I had a really long week at work because we are in the heart of the forecast. It’s been quite some time since I’ve felt like there is so much to get done at work that I had to pick and choose what would get done and what wouldn’t. Needless to say, I’m glad it’s the weekend.
Last weekend I had fun at my first Gopher’s football game at the new TCF Bank Stadium. I’m still shocked at how many people go to college football games on Saturdays. There literally are hundreds of D1 teams and crowds in the 40 to 70 thousand range are pretty normal.
While the college game was fun I also started to build a data model to help me bet on “Daily Fantasy Football.” I plan on building a data model that utilizes multiple Access tables and contains as much data as possible. At the very least I will almost certainly learn a lot about data analytics.
I was pretty happy about my two-day series on blogger struggles. It looks like a lot of people related to the struggles I shared, at least the comment count was pretty high considering the fact I don’t actively comment and only reciprocate people who first come to my blog (I even talked about this in the second post).
Writing the posts really forced me to think about my priorities as far as blogging and side hustles. I have a few other businesses that I want to build other than Young Adult Money, but it’s hard to find the time because a blog takes daily and weekly time to maintain.
Anyway this weekend I have ZERO plans, which is going to be really nice. There are a lot of things I could get done on my to-do list, but we’ll see what the weekend brings.

Sounds like great plans for the weekend. :) We just got back from our trip Monday evening, so I’ll be busy working to catch up from being gone since I’m turning right back around and going to FinCon next week. We also have to decide on a house painter so that should be fun. K-State has a bye week this week so I have more time to work. :)
Those numbers at sporting events amaze me. I live in a town of 10,000 people so it’s like taking the whole town x5 and putting them in a stadium. I also have no weekend plans and am so excited about that!
I really enjoyed the blogger series. It pretty much nailed everything on the head. It’s interesting that most bloggers go through exactly the same things. Its a wonder anyone can stick with it! Hope you have a great weekend. I’m packing for vacation at the beach (and the only blogger not going to Fincon.)

I love those weekends with no plans! I’m going to see a movie tonight (first one in forever), I have a side hustle tomorrow morning, and the rest of the week playing catch up with my to-do list and learning more wordpress stuff. Super exciting eh? :)

The blogger struggle series was a great read. After a year of blogging I can relate to many of the struggles you mentioned especially the balancing part. No plans this weekend. I’m looking forward to relaxing.
Something good about my week was my book launch. It’s been crazy but fun supporting it. This weekend, I need to get a bunch of work done in advance of the FinCon trip next week. Enjoy your low key weekend!

Eyesonthedollar Yeah it’s really incredible how big D1 stadiums can get and just how many people go to the games. There’s so many D1 schools too and probably half have a large and passionate fan base. Hope you enjoy your weekend!
