This is part two of my mini-series “websites that help you save money.” Check out part one if you missed it.

Here at Young Adult Money, we love to save money. Whether it’s couponing, finding the best deal on a product or service we need to buy, or entering giveaways to get free stuff, we do what we can to make our money go farther.

In this pursuit of saving as much money as possible, we inevitably find a whole bunch of websites that help you save money. Today we share five more websites that we’ve came across that help you save.

1) Baby Savers

Baby Savers is run by Marybeth Hamilton, who not surprisingly is yet another Minnesota-based blogger (we had two in our first post!). I had the pleasure of meeting Marybeth at a blogger meetup and subsequently checked out her site. I was impressed by the sheer volume of posts considering the fact that she has two young children and a household to manage.

I highly recommend Baby Savers to anyone who has young children (or buying gifts for a baby shower, grandchildren, etc.). Marybeth told us that when it comes to deals that first and foremost, you have to know what is a good deal and what isn’t a good deal. After following her tweets for a while now, it’s obvious she has a solid grasp of how to save money through finding the best deals, and she shares them daily with other parents on her site.

2) Zulily

Zulily is a website that has daily deals for moms, babies, and kids. Their target market is…just kidding, pretty self-explanatory ;) Signing up for Zulily is free of charge, and they send out daily deals. Probably the best part of the site (besides receiving highly discounted items) is their referral program. If you like their site and share it with others, you get a $20 credit for each person you sign up when their first order shipped (yes, we used my wife’s link on this post).

While we don’t have kids, my wife is a nanny for a 1-year old, we have a friend with a 2-year old, another expecting, and likely quite a few friends having children in the near-future. Like Baby Savers, this site helps us find the best deals when we are buying gifts.

3) Rather-Be-Shopping

Rather-Be-Shopping is an online coupon and deal finding site run by Kyle James. According to their website, “our mission is to find, sort, and post the best online coupons and free shipping codes available to help you save money when shopping on the Internet. We currently have over 5,000 coupons in our database, good at 800+ online stores.” If you are looking for online coupon codes, this is your place. Kyle wrote a guest post for our site a while back that gives some great strategies for saving when shopping online.

Below is a short video Kyle made that explains some of the features of the site:

4) Red Plum Coupons

You may be familiar with Red Plum Coupons from their inserts in your Sunday newspaper. As with most companies that have a physical product, there also are Red Plum Coupons online. The best part of Red Plum coupons is the interface. You can easily scroll through the latest coupons and select the ones you want to print. Here’s a screenshot:

If you want to check out what Red Plum has to offer, click the image below, enter your zip code, and check out the latest coupons:

5) Coupons and Freebies Mom

Coupons and Freebies Mom is a website that shares well…coupons and freebies. Actually, it has a lot more to offer than simply coupons and freebies. Jaime, who owns the website, also has posts on making money online, giveaways, frugal living, and paid surveys.

In particular, I enjoyed this post about making money with surveys. I have heard about making money through taking surveys, but have yet to see a good post about it. But, since this post is about sites that help you save money, I should point out that the site is a very good source of deals, giveaways, and freebies.

____________

I hope you enjoyed part two of the websites that help you save money series. You’ll have to wait and see if there is a part three ;)

If you have any website that you use to save money, please share in the comments.

cool list! I use cashback sites mainly or just google the brand+coupon/voucher/code when I am about to buy something online.

I need to start looking at coupon sites more. So much money to be saved! :)

    • DC @ Young Adult Money says

@SenseofCents It’s crazy how many are out there.

  3. FrugalRules says

My mother in law is always sending us stuff from Zulily for the kids. They do make some good stuff, though I HATE being on their mailing list now. ;)

    • DC @ Young Adult Money says

@FrugalRules Haha I think people get hooked on that site.

  4. DebtRoundUp says

Nice list.  I need to tell my wife about these baby sites.  She is always looking for good deals on stuff that she wants to purchase for our son.

    • DC @ Young Adult Money says

@DebtRoundUp There are lots of good deals out there for people who have babies/kids.  Mary-Beth is great at what she does with Baby Savers.

  5. AverageJoeMoney says

Red Plum and Rather Be Shopping are two sites I like and should take advantage of more. Great roundup of cool savings sites, DC. Thanks for these.

    • DC @ Young Adult Money says

@AverageJoeMoney I also need to remember to check rather-be-shopping more often.

  6. KyleJames1 says

Thanks for including Rather-Be-Shopping.com in this list, way super honored to be included!

    • DC @ Young Adult Money says

      @KyleJames1 No problem!

  7. TacklingOurDebt says

Great list! Thanks for sharing! New sites are popping up everyday and quickly becoming popular. We have several in Canada that I really enjoy too.

    • DC @ Young Adult Money says

@TacklingOurDebt That’s great!  There is always room for more of these sites.

  8. ayoungpro says

That Baby Savers site looks awesome! Thanks!

    • DC @ Young Adult Money says

      @ayoungpro It’s a great site, Mary-Beth does a great job!

  9. TheHeavyPurse says

Definitely some great sites here. Especially when you’re dealing with kids – they need so much and grow so fast! :) You want them to have nice things, but not spend a fortune either! I missed the first post, so I’ll have to check it out.

    • DC @ Young Adult Money says

@TheHeavyPurse Exactly why we are waiting to have kids, there are too many things they need (and want)!

  10. JustinatTheFrugalPath says

I’ve used a few freebie sites in the past and Plum coupons. But, since we have no children the others haven’t been used…yet.
BTW, are you researching for future uses? :)

    • DC @ Young Adult Money says

@JustinatTheFrugalPath Yes ten years down the road ;)  Hah seriously we “ideally” would not have kids for 7+ years.  We have friends who have kids or are having kids, though, plus my wife nannies, so we have a few babies/kids to buy gifts for here and there.  My cousins also are only 7 and 5 years old, so definitely have kids on our shopping list from time-to-time…

  11. Eyesonthedollar says

I love easy sites that print coupons. Thanks for another great list.

  12. StudentDebtSurvivor says

Livingrichwithcoupons.com has a great ShopRite (grocery store) matchup with coupons for each week’s sales. I also use coupons.com a lot for printable coupons.

  13. OutlierModel says

I’ve been using coupon sites less actually – no room to stash things in a teeny tiny condo!  But when it’s time to restock on groceries or household items, I would definitely check the coupon sites first to see if I could save any money.

  14. VinDiCarlo says

i am always looking for informative post.and finally i got this. Thanks for the good resource out here. Thanks For Share with us.
